more memories

The Chuckles got me thinking about what else I could remember from when I was very small...
  • playing on the swingset with Nocole Labrie
  • watching As the World Turns with Elizabeth LaBrie
  • the white horse and the blue jars from the trailer
  • playing with a girl named Stephanie and being on time-out in two differnt chairs and giggling at each other
  • Dude and Shannon
  • Scotch and Soda
  • the black cat
  • visting grandma and grandpa by myself...grandpa cried when I left

chuckles

When I was very little my Mom would take me to the landromat every week. (For some reason I think it was on Saturdays, but I may be making that up- just thinking I remember that detail.) Anyway, we lived in Quail Roost Trailer Park, and I think we would walk to the clubhouse to do the landry in the launrdy facilities. Its weird the things you remember. I remember the little built up gardens that were there and the plants that had teeny tiny light green leaves. I can clearly remember a small black snake slithering up the wall and into the plants. Anyway, my Mom would by me a pack of Chuckles from the vending machine each time. There were five in the pack, and I would eat them the same way each time. First I would give mom the yucky black one, then I would eat them from worst to best. Starting with green, orange, yellow, and finally the best of all, red. I saw a pack of Chuckles while in line at ACE hardware, it it brought all this if back. So naturally I had to buy it...this time I ate the red one first!!
